IMPORTANT UPDATE

Friends of the Sick uses Beacon CRM as its data provider, Beacon CRM has informed us that they experienced a cyber-security incident that involved unauthorised access to Beacon’s systems.

As a result, some of your personal information may have been included in the affected data. The data potentially affected includes full name, address and email address and telephone number when provided. Beacon has advised that the data accessed does not include passwords or payment information.

Beacon have informed us that they acted promptly to secure their systems and have notified the relevant authorities.

While no passwords or payment details were exposed, we recommend remaining cautious of any unexpected emails and always verifying the sender before clicking on links.

We are very sorry to be sharing this news. We know this will be concerning, and we’re taking it seriously and we have contacted the ICO to report the incident.

Friends of the Sick (Chevrat Bikkur Cholim) provides support and companionship to those who are facing old age, illness or loneliness in the Jewish community.

We believe no one should have to cope on their own. We send paid support workers to look after our clients. To some of our clients who turn to us for help, we are their only source of support.
